Toughened Glass

5x stronger than regular glass - engineered for safety and durability

About Toughened Glass

Toughened glass, also known as tempered glass, undergoes a specialized heat treatment process that makes it approximately 4-5 times stronger than standard annealed glass of the same thickness. When broken, it shatters into small, blunt pieces that are less likely to cause injury, making it a safety glass by definition.

Enhanced safety properties
High mechanical strength
Thermal shock resistance
Cannot be cut after tempering
Ideal for high-traffic areas

Thickness Range

4mm to 19mm

Maximum Size

2440mm x 4880mm

Key Features

Discover what makes Toughened Glass the perfect choice for your project

Superior Strength

4-5 times stronger than annealed glass, capable of withstanding significant impact and pressure.

Safety First

Breaks into small, granular pieces instead of sharp shards, minimizing injury risk.

Thermal Resistance

Can withstand temperature differentials up to 250°C without breaking.

Scratch Resistant

Hardened surface provides excellent resistance to scratches and abrasions.
